Tenth Annual NCHC Media Day Set for this Thursday at Xcel Energy Center

Fans can participate from afar through Twitter Takeovers, Instagram Live interviews and the State of the Conference live stream

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) will unofficially drop the puck on its 10th season of competition this Thursday with the Conference’s annual Media Day. NCHC Media Day will once again take place at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., the home of the 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff.

While coaches and student-athletes representing all eight NCHC teams will be in attendance for Media Day, fans can also follow along and participate in Media Day from afar. NCHC Commissioner Heather Weems’ State of the Conference address will be streamed live for free on NCHC.tv. Fans will also be able to ask questions for the student-athletes, which will be answered during a ‘Twitter Takeover’ of @TheNCHC and perhaps during Instagram Live interviews. Fans can also follow all the action behind-the-scenes at 2022 Media Day on the NCHC’s social media channels, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Media Day gets underway with the student-athletes’ ‘Twitter Takeover’ of the NCHC’s account, @TheNCHC. Each student-athlete will answer fan questions on the NCHC’s Twitter account for 15 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. CT. Fans may begin submitting questions leading up to Media Day on Twitter by using the listed hashtag next to each student-athlete on the schedule below. The student-athletes will then answer as many questions as they can during their allotted time.
