COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second straight season, 56 National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) student-athletes have earned AHCA Krampade All-American Scholars honors for exceptional achievement in the classroom and being a consistent contributor on the ice. The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)
announced the 405 men’s college hockey players recognized for the 2025-26 season on Monday.
A total of 725 Division I hockey players landed AHCA All-American Scholars in 2025-26, including 405 men and 320 women. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained at least a 3.75 grade point average for each semester during the academic year and had to appear in 40 percent of their team’s games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools are also required to be good-standing members of the AHCA.
For the fourth straight year, Colorado College leads all NCHC teams with 15 All-American Scholars, which ties for the most from any NCAA men’s program in 2025-26 along with Bowling Green and Long Island. Denver and St. Cloud State are next among NCHC schools with nine honorees each, followed by Arizona State and Minnesota Duluth, who have five each. All NCHC schools have at least two student-athletes recognized.

announced in April), in addition to being an All-American Scholar off of it.
Three NCHC student-athletes became four-time All-American Scholars this year in Denver senior defenseman
Kent Anderson, who was also the NCHC’s Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, along with St. Cloud State’s
Mason Reiners and
Jack Rogers. Denver junior defenseman
Boston Buckberger garnered All-American Scholars honors for the third time, while nine others from the NCHC repeated as an All-American Scholar this year.
Five NCHC student-athletes earned both AHCA All-American Scholars and All-NCHC honors on the ice in 2025-26, led by Pohlkamp, who was a First-Team All-NCHC honoree. Buckberger, UMD sophomore forward
Zam Plante and WMU senior defenseman
Samuel Sjolund all garnered Third-Team All-NCHC this past season along with All-American Scholars accolades. Denver defenseman
Eric Jamieson was named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team this year.
The NCHC announced its initial 2025-26 Honor Roll and Distinguished Scholar-Athletes in February, while eligible freshmen and first-year transfers will be added to those lists in July. A total of
113 NCHC student-athletes were honored initially in February for having at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, while 83 were also recognized as NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athletes with a 3.5 GPA or better. The NCHC also announced its
