COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With season 10 of the NCHC recently underway, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has revealed its television schedule on CBS Sports Network for the 2022-23 campaign. The Network will once again serve as the national television partner of the NCHC, having done so all 10 years of the NCHC’s existence.
CBS Sports Network will televise 11 NCHC games during the second half of the season, including eight regular-season contests, mostly on Friday nights, and all three games at the 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff. All eight NCHC teams will be featured at least once on CBS Sports Network during the regular season, with seven teams being televised in their home arenas.
The NCHC on CBS Sports Network slate begins on Saturday, Jan. 7 with an in-state rivalry between St. Cloud State and Minnesota at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The lone non-conference clash on the CBS Sports Network schedule has puck drop set for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
The remaining games on CBS Sports Network are all Friday night conference contests, starting with Minnesota Duluth visiting Omaha on Friday, Jan. 13. Game time at Baxter Arena is now slated for 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT.
NCHC action resumes on the Network Friday, Jan. 27 with North Dakota at Miami. February begins with Western Michigan taking on Minnesota Duluth on Friday, Feb. 3, while North Dakota battles rival Denver at Magness Arena in a match-up of last year’s Penrose Cup champions the following Friday. All three of those games are set for a 7:30 p.m. local start time on CBS Sports Network.
St. Cloud State at North Dakota on Feb. 17 and Denver at Western Michigan one Friday later wrap up the February schedule, with both contests a 7 p.m. local start. The regular season on CBS Sports Network then concludes on Friday, March 3 with the battle for the Gold Pan between Colorado College and the Pioneers. Puck drop for that game at Magness Arena has now moved to 10 p.m. ET/8 p.m. MT.
CBS Sports Network will also televise the entire 2023 NCHC Frozen Faceoff live from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. Both semifinals will take place on Friday, March 17, while the championship game is set for Saturday, March 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT when the NCHC Tournament champion will be crowned.
