Sam Kuhne was hired to serve as the Conference’s first Digital Content & Creative Services Coordinator in August of 2021. In her role, Kuhne produces a variety of digital content for fans to consume on NCHC.tv and the Conference’s social media platforms. In addition, she assists with updating the NCHC’s social media channels and websites (NCHCHockey.com and NCHC.tv). Kuhne also helps coordinate planning of NCHC events and select other internal operations.
Kuhne joined the NCHC after serving as a junior video editor for The Oxford Club, a financial publishing and investment company, for seven months. Prior to that, she served as a production intern with the Pittsburgh Penguins from January through May of 2020 until the NHL season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While with the Penguins, Kuhne worked game nights and produced videos for PensTV and the Penguins’ social media channels.
Kuhne, a native of Johnstown, Pa., graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with her bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a marketing minor. She resides in Colorado Springs.
