Visit Saint Paul invites you to celebrate college hockey at the NCHC Frozen Faceoff Fan Fest presented by Bud Light. Enjoy ice-cold beverages, tasty food, interactive hockey games and music outdoors across W. 7th Street from Xcel Energy Center. NCHC Frozen Faceoff Fan Fest is free and open to the public.
NCHC FAN SKATE
Thursday, March 21
7:00 - 8:30 p.m. CT
Gate 1 opens at 6:30 p.m.
Bring your skates and
skate on the official ice of the Frozen Faceoff and Minnesota Wild! Rental skates are not available at the venue. Sticks, pucks, etc. are not allowed on the ice during open skate. All skaters are required to sign a waiver.

Fans are welcome to watch their team make final preparations for the tournament by attending select open practice times.

POST-GAME PARTY
Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub is the Official Post-Game Party Location for all NCHC Frozen Faceoff fans. Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub is a family restaurant and sports pub located two blocks from Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul. Owned by a former NHL defenseman, fans can enjoy food and drink specials at this signature hockey-themed establishment during the tournament.

Considered one of the finest arenas in the world, Xcel Energy Center is a one-of-a-kind, multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility located in downtown Saint Paul, home to more than 150 sporting and entertainment events and roughly 1.7 million visitors each year. Xcel Energy Center opened on Sept. 29, 2000 and has been home to the NHL’s Wild ever since. In addition, the arena hosts the Minnesota State High School League Boys’ & Girls’ Hockey Tournaments annually and has previously been the home of both the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s (WCHA) championship weekend and the Big Ten’s championship tournament.
