NCHC Partners with Ryz Sports Network to Expand National Reach

At least seven NCHC games to air live on the FAST sports network throughout 2026-27 season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) is expanding its reach and brand to a national audience through a new partnership with Ryz Sports Network, the Conference announced Friday.

The arrangement will see at least seven NCHC games stream live on Ryz Sports Network on select Friday nights throughout the 2026-27 season, starting tonight, Oct. 2, while providing additional national exposure for the Conference and its member institutions. Ryz is a free, ad-supported television (FAST) sports network available around the clock across a wide range of streaming and smart TV platforms. Ryz’s distribution reaches up to 800 million devices across the country.

“The NCHC is excited to partner with Ryz Sports Network to bring NCHC hockey to a broader national audience,” said NCHC Commissioner Heather Weems. “With select games airing live and additional games shown tape delayed throughout the season, Ryz gives new fans an opportunity to discover the talent, intensity and tradition of our conference. Of course, NCHC.tv remains the home for every NCHC game, allowing fans to follow their team all season long.”

Ryz Sports Network is available free to viewers on a growing collection of platforms and devices, including Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Fire TV, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, VIZIO WatchFree+, Sony PlayStation 5, DIRECTV, Google TV, Comcast Xfinity, Fubo and Xumo, among others. Fans can search for Ryz Sports Network on participating platforms and smart TVs to access the channel. Additional information is available at RyzSportsNetwork.com.

“As a lifelong hockey fan, I’m especially excited about Ryz Sports Network’s partnership with the NCHC,” said Neil Brubaker, Ryz’s co-founder and chief distribution officer. “The conference represents the best college hockey in the country, and we’re thrilled to bring these games to Ryz viewers across our extensive national distribution footprint. We look forward to a great season and a long relationship with the NCHC.”

The NCHC’s initial Ryz schedule features six regular-season games, beginning Friday, Oct. 2, when Colorado College hosts UMass at Ed Robson Arena to open the 2026-27 campaign. The slate includes games from six different NCHC venues, including four conference contests, and concludes with an NCHC Frozen Faceoff First Round game on Friday, March 5. The match-up for the postseason contest will be determined following the conclusion of the regular season. All live games on Ryz will take place on Friday nights with most on the first Friday of each month.

Along with the live games airing on Ryz Sports Network (complete schedule below), additional NCHC games will air tape delayed on Ryz on subsequent Friday nights showing at least one contest from the previous weekend.

All games in an NCHC venue, including those on Ryz, will continue to be available on NCHC.tv. Fans can watch approximately 200 live games throughout the 2026-27 season on NCHC.tv.
