NCHC Relaunches NCHChockey.com Website

New site, hosted by SIDEARM Sports, now on same platform as NCHC.tv; NCHC.tv Early Bird subscriptions now available

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With the National Collegiate Hockey Conference’s (NCHC) 10th season on the horizon, the NCHC unveiled a new website Tuesday, relaunching NCHChockey.com and transitioning hosts to SIDEARM Sports. The new NCHChockey.com is now integrated with the Conference’s digital network, NCHC.tv, on the same SIDEARM Sports platform. The NCHC and SIDEARM Sports announced a five-year extension to their partnership in May.

Along with the rollout of NCHChockey.com, NCHC.tv now lives under the same navigation as the Conference’s traditional website, allowing for a seamless transition between both sites. Fans will be able to watch live games and find stats and standings all on the same platform.

In addition to the website integration, NCHC.tv ‘Early Bird’ Annual Passes are now available for the 2022-23 season. In honor of the NCHC’s upcoming 10th season, fans can save 10 percent on the regular price of a Conference Annual Pass with an ‘Early Bird’ subscription ($104.95) through Wednesday, Sept. 21. The ‘Early Bird’ Pass provides access to all available games on NCHC.tv this coming season, with more than 140 games to be streamed live, including all NCHC Quarterfinal contests.

The new NCHChockey.com allows users to easily toggle between news and on-demand videos on the home page, while providing easy navigation for standings, schedules, statistics and more at the top. The home page also includes the standings, an NCHC social media feed and will feature Player of the Week honorees in-season. Each NCHC team has its own page within NCHChockey.com as well, which includes school-specific stories and videos, team social media feeds, along with links to each team’s schedule, roster and statistics.

“We’re excited to refresh our traditional website, while also moving it to the same platform as NCHC.tv. We believe this will make the online experience more user friendly and easier to navigate between NCHChockey.com and our digital network,” said NCHC Associate Commissioner Michael Weisman. “As the Conference begins its 10th season, we look forward to expanding our partnership with SIDEARM Sports and making it our best season yet from a digital perspective. We would also like to thank SportsEngine for being a great website host and partner during the NCHC’s first decade of existence.”

NCHC.tv, which has existed since 2014 and lived on the SIDEARM Sports platform since 2019, will continue to serve as the Conference’s home for live games and streaming. Since NCHC.tv was acquired by SIDEARM Sports in 2019, the digital network has seen new mobile apps rolled out for iOS and Android devices, updated AppleTV and Roku apps, and added an Amazon Fire app to the portfolio. The NCHC.tv mobile apps will also be updated prior to the start of the season to integrate more of the NCHC’s traditional website (NCHChockey.com).

Once ‘Early Bird’ pricing expires, a Conference Annual Pass will go up in price to $116.95 beginning on Thursday, Sept. 22. In addition, School Annual Passes ($107.95), Conference Monthly Passes ($29.95) and School Monthly Passes ($26.95) will be available for purchase. Fans who had a conference or school annual or monthly subscription last season will have their subscription automatically renewed at the same price as last year, unless cancelled, and do not need to purchase a new subscription. Should fans have questions about their subscription, please contact SIDEARM Sports at nchctv@sidearmsports.com.

The NCHC’s 10th season gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 1 with all eight NCHC teams in action. Four teams open the regular season with non-conference contests, while the other half plays exhibition contests. Two of the non-conference games and three of the exhibitions are home games and will be available on NCHC.tv. Three more regular-season non-conference games will be on NCHC.tv on Sunday, Oct. 2, with four NCHC teams wrapping up series overall.
