2021 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament: Semifinals - Day 8

Match-up for April 1 features SCSU's Cockrell vs. UND's Pinto

We get the final semifinal underway on day eight of the 2021 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament, presented by Krampade, with the second semifinal match-up available for fan voting.

In today's match-up, St. Cloud State forward Jared Cockrell sneaks one into the Omaha net all while falling to the ground in the first week of the NCHC Pod, while North Dakota forward Shane Pinto turns on the jets from inside UND's defensive zone, flies by the CC defenseman and finds the back of the net in week 7.

Winning our first semifinal match-up was UND's Adam Scheel who defeated UNO's Isaiah Saville with 62 percent of the vote. Scheel advances to the championship round on April 2.

Voting will remain open until tomorrow at 2 p.m. ET, when Friday's championship match-up is posted and today's winner is announced. The winner of today's match-up will advance to the finals on April 2. The entire bracket (with schedule) can be seen at the bottom of the page.
