After unveiling the full bracket and all 12 nominees up for 2020-21 NCHC Play of the Year on Monday, March 22, the first two match-ups in the 2021 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament fueled by Krampade are open for fan voting. Both first-round match-ups for Tuesday, March 23 pit a goal against a save.
In the opening match-up of the first round, Colorado College freshman goaltender Dominic Basse makes a sprawling cross-crease save against Omaha in week 10, while Western Michigan senior forward Ethen Frank goes coast-to-coast weaving through Miami's defense for a goal in week 12.
In the second first-round match-up Tuesday, Denver senior Jake Durflinger takes a stretch pass from Antti Tuomisto and scores at North Dakota with nifty move in week 10, while UND junior goalie Adam Scheel makes a blocker save on a rebound in week 8.

Voting will remain open until Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET, when the final two first-round match-ups are posted and today's winners are announced.
