2018 NCHC Play of the Year Champion: SCSU's Ryan Poehling

Fans voted and selected Poehling's goal from week 20 as the top play of 2017-18

Over the last two weeks, fans have voted in the 2018 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament, presented by TRIA Orthopaedic Center, and we have a winner, as St. Cloud State sophomore forward Ryan Poehling's goal was revealed as the Play of the Year during the 2018 NCHC Frozen Faceoff championship game on Saturday night.

In the NCHC Play of the Year, Poehling puts his stick between his legs and shoots top shelf against North Dakota in the final weekend of the regular season (March 2).

Poehling won the championship match-up against Denver's Henrik Borgström, earning 57 percent of the vote.
