2017 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament: Quarterfinals - Day 6

Match-ups for March 15 feature Blacker vs. Larkin and Meyer vs. Leclerc

With one semifinal set, it's time to decide the other semifinal with the last two quarterfinal match-ups in the 2017 NCHC Play of the Year Tournament, presented by TRIA Orthopaedic Center, now open for voting.

In the first quarterfinal, Western Michigan freshman goalie Ben Blacker makes a great glove save in week 18, while Miami freshman goalie Ryan Larkin makes a sprawling glove save in week 5. In the other quarterfinal, Miami freshman Carson Meyer skates through the North Dakota defense for a nifty goal in week 13, while Colorado College freshman goalie Alex Leclerc stretches to make a toe save against Miami in week 10.

Winning Monday's first two quarterfinals were North Dakota freshman forward Tyson Jost with 64 percent of the vote over Minnesota Duluth's Kyle Osterberg, and UND sophomore forward Shane Gersich, who earned 57 percent of the vote to move past CC sophomore forward Mason Bergh. Jost and Gersich meet in an all-UND semifinal on March 16.

Videos of both match-ups Wednesday are below with the poll to vote below each video. Voting will remain open until Thursday afternoon, when the semifinals are released and today's winners are revealed. The winners of Wednesday's match-ups will meet in the second semifinal tomorrow. The entire bracket can be seen at the bottom of the page while all 16 plays can be seen here.
