MINNEAPOLIS - After a two-week Goals of the Year Tournament that included the top 16 goals of the year with one from each week during the NCHC regular season, the fans have spoken and the Goal of the Year in the NCHC was by North Dakota sophomore forward Drake Caggiula, who beat an SCSU defender for his highlight-reel goal all the way back on Nov. 1. Caggiula beat out Western Michigan's Josh Pitt in the championship match-up, earning 63 percent of the over 7,500 votes received. The winning goal was unveiled during the championship game of the inaugural NCHC Frozen Faceoff Saturday, March 22. Video of the winning goal and the final bracket are below.
